Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the rides?

Bike Egypt currently operates from Hurghada in Egypt’s Red Sea region.

How long is the experience?

Approximately two hours of riding, plus roughly one hour total for hotel pickup and return. Allow about three hours overall.

Are the dirt-bike rides private?

Yes. Dirt-bike rides are private, and the route and pace are adapted to the rider or private group rather than mixing unrelated skill levels.

I am a beginner. Can I ride?

Yes, subject to the pre-ride assessment. Bike Egypt assesses your actual ability before departure and chooses an appropriate Motorbike, route and pace. The Honda/Yamaha 250cc option is the most approachable choice for newer off-road riders.

What equipment is included?

The experience includes hotel pickup and return plus protective riding equipment including a helmet, boots and protective suit/gear.

Can a non-riding partner or friend come?

Yes. On eligible dirt-bike experiences, companions who do not ride a Motorbike can join the private adventure using a Quad or CFMOTO Buggy, subject to availability.

What about Polaris Buggy trips?

Polaris Buggy adventures are private, separate experiences and are not mixed into dirt-bike departures.

How late can I book?

The normal booking cut-off is 12 hours before departure, subject to availability.

What pickup information do you need?

Provide your hotel name and address, room number if available, or the exact agreed pickup location. You may also add pickup instructions. A working WhatsApp/phone number is required so the team can confirm your booking and pickup.

How do I pay?

Follow the payment instructions displayed during booking. Where the reservation is confirmed for payment at the trip start, no online payment is taken for that reservation.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, you should arrange appropriate personal travel and medical insurance and confirm that it covers the specific off-road activity you book. See our Safety Information page for details.

What if the weather or conditions are unsafe?

Safety comes first. Bike Egypt may change the route, departure timing, reschedule or cancel an activity where conditions make that necessary.
