Safety Information

Safety Information

Off-road Motorbike, Quad and Buggy riding is an adventure activity and carries inherent risks, including falls, collisions, changing terrain, heat, dust and mechanical or environmental hazards. Protective equipment, professional guidance and careful route selection reduce risk but cannot remove it completely.

Your responsibility as a rider

Every participant is responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety. Ride only within your ability, maintain a safe distance, remain in control and immediately tell your guide if you are uncomfortable, fatigued, injured or unable to continue safely. Never attempt a manoeuvre simply because another rider can do it.

Rider assessment and guide authority

Bike Egypt assesses dirt-bike riders before departure and may adjust the Motorbike, route, terrain and pace to the rider’s demonstrated skill. The guide has authority to slow, reroute, pause or end participation where necessary for safety. Instructions from the guide must be followed at all times.

Protective equipment

Wear the helmet, boots and protective riding equipment supplied or approved for the activity. Equipment must be worn and fastened correctly throughout the ride. Tell the team immediately if any item does not fit correctly or appears damaged.

Fitness and health

Participants should be physically capable of safely undertaking the booked activity. Do not participate while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or when illness, injury, severe fatigue or medication could make riding unsafe. If you are uncertain whether a medical condition is compatible with this activity, obtain advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.

Travel and medical insurance

Each rider is responsible for having appropriate personal travel and medical insurance. Because off-road riding is a higher-risk activity, confirm before travelling that your policy specifically covers the activity you intend to undertake, including off-road motorcycling where applicable. Consider cover for emergency medical treatment, ambulance or rescue costs, medical evacuation and repatriation. Do not assume a standard travel policy automatically covers off-road motorsports.

Risk acknowledgement

By choosing to participate, you acknowledge that adventure riding has risks that cannot be completely eliminated. You are expected to act responsibly, accurately represent your experience and condition, and follow all safety instructions. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude or limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Before the ride

Stay hydrated, wear suitable clothing, secure loose items, listen to the safety briefing and ask the guide about anything you do not understand. Safety always takes priority over speed or completing a particular route.
